An example of the artist’s “toys” that he began producing in the late 1990s, those of which often draw on popular comic or cartoon characters. All of KAWS’ toys are "branded" with his signature X to replace each eyes and are often manipulated in ways which undermine their familiar appearance. Here, a set of three "Companion" figures are distorted and manipulated, achieving an entirely new figure.
